 The Sillites Self-Contained Receptacle (SCR) is 1-7/8" diameter x 2-1/2" tall and mounts into a 1-3/4 diameter hole. It needs no additional junction box and meets Article 300.15(e) of the National Electric Code. When the Sillite® candle is plugged in, it completely covers the flange, appearing to be sitting independently on the sill. Each SCR is shipped with a paintable child-proof cover cap for a clean appearance when the candle is not installed.
Besides windowsills, the SCR is the perfect convenience outlet to plug a lamp, radio, etc. into. It can be mounted into any wood surface like mantels, cabinets, etc., and is rated for 120 volt, 15 amp operation.
